Load sense directional control valves (DMV)

Our load sense directional control valve, also called a directional mobile valve (DMV), is a sectional mobile valve that provides spool position control using a direct-acting electric solenoid. The DMV has a closed-center parallel or series circuit design but can also function as an open-center circuit if unloading inlet options are used.

Features and benefits

  • Provides load sense and PO check capability for closed- and open-circuit solutions
  • Fully encapsulated solenoid coils—impervious to common industrial fluids
  • Coils can be removed and replaced quickly and easily
  • Various voltage control and connection options available
  • IP65/67/69K coils ratings, dependent upon connection
  • ON/OFF soft shift feature available to provide smoother control of actuator acceleration and deceleration than possible with conventional solenoid valves

Applications

  • Aerial work platforms
  • Mini-excavators
  • Lawn tractors
  • Backhoes
  • Telehandlers
  • Material handling equipment
