eDrivetrain system
The eDrivetrain system allows for optimized packaging and increased payload capacity due to weight savings. The reduced size and mass of this drivetrain are due to the Danfoss Editron motor and control technology coupled with the torque-multiplying function of the transmission. The two-speed transmission provides the ability to keep the e-motor in the highest efficiency operation region over more of the vehicle's drive cycle. These systems are ideal for heavy-duty commercial vehicles and transit applications.
ePowerpack
The ePowerpack is part of the Danfoss low-voltage electrification portfolio. Consisting of a high-performance interior permanent magnet motor and a high-power, air-cooled converter with a full-feature digital signal processor, it is designed for maximal efficiency and compactness. Variants include optional gear pumps with power settings that can be changed using software.
eTraction system
Consisting of an electric motor paired with a traction inverter, the durable eTraction system provides more than 95% system efficiency and was specifically designed for heavy-duty commercial electric vehicle applications. It provides the highest continuous power and torque in its class, and its scalable design future-proofs diverse EV/HEV/PHEV platforms while ensuring functional safety. It pairs with various transmissions and integrates into eAxles to optimize drive train efficiency, increase vehicle range, and minimize total cost of ownership.
