Fixed displacement axial piston motors
Our fixed-displacement motors for mobile equipment are engineered from existing, proven technology. They have been optimized for product life, package size, option variety, and installation effort.
Danfoss fixed displacement piston motors offer a wide range of capacities, with displacements ranging from 12 cm3 to 125 cm3 [0.75 in3 to 7.6 in3] and continuous pressure ranges from 210 bar to 480 bar [3,000 psi to 6,962 psi]. Available models include:

H1F bent axis fixed motors
H1F fixed-displacement bent-axis motors offer proven reliability at up to 95% efficiency for open- or closed-circuit applications. With displacements of 60 cm3 [3.7 in3] or 80 cm3 [4.9 in3] and pressure ratings up to 510 bar [7,397 psi] absolute and 480 bar [6,962 psi] delta, these lightweight, power-dense motors are easy to install and feature some of the most compact envelopes on the market.
MP1 fixed motors
Our MP1 motors for mobile equipment are engineered from existing, proven technology and are available with one of four displacements in a 20/24 cm3 or 28/32 cm3 package. They are capable of operating in closed- or open-loop systems and have been optimized for product life, package size, option variety, and installation cost.
Series 1 fixed motors
With displacements from 55 cm3 to 125 cm3 [3.3 in3 to 7.6 in3] for continuous pressures up to 420 bar [6,100 psi], Danfoss Series 1 fixed motors deliver the torque needed in high-pressure mobile applications, and their integrated valves and improved packaging help them fit in tight spaces.
Series 40 fixed motors
Designed for medium-power applications with maximum loads of 345 bar [5,000 psi], series 40 fixed motors (M35 / M44) feature a parallel axial piston / slipper design and a fixed swashplate. They are typically used in systems that transfer and control hydraulic power, and series 40 transmissions (pump/motor systems) provide continuously variable speeds in both forward and reverse.
Series 741 and 743 fixed motors
With displacements from 12 cm3 to 40 cm3 [0.75 in3 to 2.5 in3] and continuous pressure ratings of 210 bar [3,000 psi], Danfoss medium-pressure fixed piston motors are ideal for many applications, including propulsion, fan drives, and seeding and planting. They are particularly useful when continuous rotary motion is needed far from a power source.
Series 90 fixed motors
Series 90 motors feature a parallel axial piston/slipper design and a fixed swashplate. With maximum displacements ranging from 55 cm3 to 130 cm3 [3.35 in3 to 7.90 in3] and maximum working pressures of 450 bar [6,525 psi], they are used in a variety of closed-circuit applications. Often combined with series 90 pumps or other Danfoss products to transfer and control hydraulic power, they are bidirectional and can intake or discharge fluid through either port.
