Industrial motors
Our industrial motors are suited for harsh environments like those associaited with demanding offshore and oilfield markets. We have models for everything from low-speed, high-torque (LSHT) applications to those with high speed and power requirements, and our variable-displacement versions are available with a wide range of control options.
Dowmax axial piston motors
The Dowmax® ME Motor is a one-of-a-kind axial piston motor with double swash plate and multiple opposed pistons. With a high starting torque, smooth performance at low speeds, and high overall efficiency, it is perfect for applications such as directional drilling machinery, top head drives, and marine winches.
Hydrokraft axial piston motors
We offer piston motors with many control options and fixed or variable displacement from 66 cm3 to 750 cm3 [4 in3 to 46 in3]. They are designed with the largest available shaft bearings to provide long life in harsh environments, even for high-speed and high-power applications, and they can operate on a wide range of fluids, including water-glycol.
Industrial cam lobe motors
This radial piston cam curve motor is designed with a rotating cylinder block mounted in roller bearings within the motor housing. The cylinder block(s) incorporate either a hollow shaft to facilitate mounting on a driveshaft via a shrink disc coupling or splines to facilitate mounting directly on a splined shaft. The block(s) are mounted in fixed roller bearings in the housing, which also accommodates the output drive housing.
Industrial vane motors
With displacements ranging from 44 cm3 to 317 cm3 [2.7 in3 to 19.3 in3], our vane motors provide an efficient and economical means of applying rotary hydraulic power with variable speed. They can operate on a wide range of fluids, including water-glycol, and they are hydraulically balanced to ensure efficiency and low vibration throughout their service lives.
