Developed with customers to meet their evolving mobile transmission needs, our THORX cam lobe motors deliver high performance and efficiency with a proven radial-piston design. The easy-to-fit CLM S and CLM T reduce shock by up to 70 percent in applications such as skid loaders.
Cam lobe motors are well suited for construction machines with chain drives, such as skid
steer loaders. These motors include the THORX™ CLM 8 S series and T series of motors.

CLM 8 S motors
With displacements from 470 cm3 to 820 cm3 [28.8 in3 to 50.0 in3] and pressures up to 450 bar [6,525 psi], the CLM 8 S motor is designed to fit construction machines with chain drives, such as skid steer loaders. Using existing and proven technology refined by Danfoss, this radial piston motor, also known as a cam lobe motor, has been optimized by taking into account the following factors: physical size, lifetime, features, and installation cost. It is most commonly used in closed circuit medium power propel applications and combined with other products to transfer and control hydraulic power.
CLM T motors
Our CLM T motors are designed for the toughest jobs, featuring high-efficiency, smooth speed changeover, longer lifetime and integrated parking brake. The novel shape with central flange fully uses the space within even the smallest tracks. CLM T motors are designed to be interchangeable with the most common solutions for track loaders today. The motor series can be easily configured with a wide variety of sizes, mounting configurations, and port options.
