Brakes and release pumps

Our standalone spring-applied hydraulic release brakes provide 225 Nm to 1,500 Nm [2,000 lb-in to 13,300 lb-in] of reliable load-holding torque for critical machine functions, and our hydraulic release pumps are hand pumps used to release various types of spring-applied, hydraulically released brakes.

Features and benefits

  • Ball bearings support higher shaft loads and provide longer life shaft seal life.
  • Dual release ports allow easier bleeding of brake release cavity.
  • Oil-filled cavity immerses all components providing quiet operation.
  • Wide range of holding torques, release pressures, and free turn torques are available.
  • Wide-variety of input and output shaft options are available.
  • All models provide proven, quiet, trouble-free operation.
  • Range of options offer design flexibility

Applications

  • Wheel drives
  • Positioners
  • Conveyors
  • Door openers
  • Swing drives
  • Aerial work platforms
