Char-Lynn motors

Danfoss Char-Lynn spool-valve and disc-valve motors offer displacements from 8 cm³ to 940 cm³ [0.5 in³ to 57.4 in³] and continuous pressure ratings up to 225 bar [3,250 psi]. Spool-valve models like the J, H, S, and T series feature integrated shaft valving and journal bearings, ideal for applications such as harvesting and food processing. Disc-valve motors offer enhanced pressure capabilities and customizable options for shafts, bearings, ports, and mounting.

Orbitron motors

Designed for demanding environments, Danfoss Orbitron motors offer displacements from 160 cm³ to 800 cm³ [9.77 in³ to 48.3 in³] and pressure ratings up to 350 bar [5,080 psi]. These large orbital motors deliver high starting torque and energy efficiency for medium- to heavy-duty applications, including propulsion and work functions, even under extreme conditions.

Xcel motors

Danfoss Xcel series spool-valve and disc-valve motors are engineered to deliver reliable, cost-effective performance for low- and medium-duty applications. With displacements ranging from 50 cm³ to 985 cm³ [3.1 in³ to 60 in³], they offer proven solutions backed by Danfoss expertise, combining versatile design with dependable operation.

Track and swing orbital motors

With their industry-leading Geroler® design, our efficient orbital motors provide two speeds and low-slip performance for mini excavators. These low-noise and easy-maintenance solutions are tuned for low speeds and include reinforced bearings, integrated brakes, and all the features required for compact direct-drive applications.

Brakes and release pumps

Our standalone spring-applied hydraulic release brakes provide 225 Nm to 1,500 Nm [2,000 lb-in to 13,300 lb-in] of reliable load-holding torque for critical machine functions, and our hydraulic release pumps are hand pumps used to release various types of spring-applied, hydraulically released brakes.

Orbital motor accessories and speed sensors

Our plug-and-play PLUS+1® compliant EMD speed sensor provides high-resolution digital output at both high and low speeds. Its contactless operation and robust design make it suitable for challenging applications including outdoor and heavy-industrial machines.
