Series 40 variable motors
For medium-power applications, series 40 variable motors feature a parallel axial piston/slipper design and a tiltable swashplate. They are available with displacements ranging from 35 cm3 to 46 cm3 [2.14 in3 to 2.80 in3] and are rated for loads up to 345 bar [5,000 psi].
The Series 40 family of variable-displacement motors includes M35, M44, and M46 motor units. The M35 and M44 variable motors feature a trunnion style swashplate and direct displacement control. The M46 variable motors use a cradle swashplate design and a two-position hydraulic servo control.
